CREATIVE BRIEF
1. Brand Movie
A cinematic expression of the values of Bradner/Golden Gate/Semlin Valley/Farms which creates an emotional engagement with the audience, creating a lasting and impactful first impression.
A brand movie is the story of why you do what you do.
This story is about how the values of the Donaldson family has not only shaped 3 generations of farmers but also fed countless families. It is the story of how these values have survived nearly 100 years through good and tough times and they not only are the foundations that all the Donaldson's are built on, but also the foundation the products are built on. This story will elicit admiration and trust.
These values, amongst the history of the Donaldson family farms, will be delivered through voice over by an older voice in present tense to reflect the first generation looking forward, telling what the farm was built on in terms of values and what should be passed on - and we will see in the footage how those values have been passed on and flourish today. It is a lyrical, visual mission statement of what Bradner Farms represents.
This story will be emphasized with symbolic, emblematic close-ups and sweeping, epic wide shots of landscapes.
It could start with the close-up of a hand holding a small mound of dirt, with the voice over telling us, “It all started with a handful of dirt, and the dreams of what to make of it.” The story would show each farm and how the family has grown those dreams.
It could end with the hand from the beginning letting the dirt run slowly from his/her hand before rising out of frame, “Something that we’re proud of. That’s what we’ll make of it."

2. Heart of your Business Videos for each Farm
Each farm deserves their own showcase that builds upon the connection made in the Brand Movie and informs the viewer more specifically on what each farm has to offer. Each video would be a showcase of farm and farmer(s), showing how the farm is run and where the products end up, while still showcasing the values instilled in the Brand Movie.
Here are two examples of videos of farmers that tie into restaurants, but for the purposes of Bradner Farms, could tie into Thrifty’s, Costco, etc. or stand alone on the farm.
