In this easy to follow checklist and videos, we’ll show you how to make a good quality video that stands out all on your own.

You don’t need us for these simple videos that sell.

You’ll be able to make simple sit-down style videos on your device for Facebook Live or other streaming that gives information or education about your product or service. 

Your 10 Step Checklist To Make Sure Your Videos Rock Every Time!

1. SHHH! You need a quiet space to film in and it will make a world of difference to use a microphone.
2. Let there be light! Make sure you are well lit, not backlit. - Give your background some light too so you stand out.
3. Eyes are the window to the soul. Have talking points but NO SCRIPT! Make sure your eyes and your attention are on the camera to reach your audience.
4. Say Cheese!  Smile before you start and stop talking. Besides obviously making you seem friendly, It will make you feel confident and relaxed. 
5. Head and Shoulders. Make sure you have some room (not too much) above your head and don’t get too close - show yourself off to the waist.
6. The Camera is your best friend. Literally. When you are talking to the camera, imagine it is someone you are comfortable (and vulnerable) talking to.
7. Jump! Jump up and down 5 times before pressing ‘Record’ or dance. Get the blood flowing! Plus it helps relieve nerves. 
8. Zen. Take a moment before pressing ‘Record’. Take a deep breathe and say, “I will deliver what I have to say, however it comes out, with confidence and my ideal client will hear me.” 
9. Time is of the essence. Practice and have a timer going so you can keep track of your time.
10. Just do it! TRY it. Break the ice. Start with a short and sweet introduction of who you are, what you do and what future videos will be about.
11. Make sure your background is free of clutter. You want eyes on you, not on a messy backdrop. 

There’s 4 kinds of videos that work for this DIY style: 

1. Testimonial videos in the ideal timeframe of 2 minutes or less
2. Information or “Tip” video (“3 ways to save money,” “5 things to consider when...”) ranging from 2-4 minutes 
3. How To's​, showing techinques, recipes, or other talents you have. 
4. Behind the Scenes ( you on the job or doing what you love ). Short and sweet, 15 seconds to a minute. These are great for Instagram and Facebook Stories/Reels.
