WHO WE ARE
SPIRO Creative are storytellers that use video to build relationships between businesses and customers using what we call heart & soul filmmaking. WHAT WE DO We create more than just video. We find the heart of your business and express that to the world in a way that authentically connects you to your audience. WHY WE DO IT The etymological origin of "SPIRO" is latin: To Breathe Life Into; Breathe the Spirit of; mind, soul & courage. We unearth your businesses most powerful narrative - why you do what you do- and create a boundless, soulful expression that resonates with viewers as a beacon amongst the sea of hollow marketing. Your story deserves to be told. We want to tell it. |
CREATIVE BRIEF
Brand Movie
The brand movie needs to encompass the heart of your business which is why you do what you do.
The story about your mother teaching you at a young age about money in/money out and prioritizing expenses and savings
is not only endearing to the audience, but it is an enlightening moment around what you do and why you do it. Adding in a
photo of you and your mom/family would make it even better.
The theme within this Brand Movie is family, not just the love but passing on knowledge.
The backbone of the movie would be voice over of you briefly telling the story about your mother’s lesson and why that
carried you into your career and how your family has expanded, both at home and with clients.
Overtop of this, we see you getting ready in the morning - shoes go on,
you stand in front of the mirror putting on your tie and your wife sneaks a kiss.
You say goodbye to your child and receive a big hug.
You drive to work (an opportunity to show the community as you go, perhaps some drone shots) and wave to someone
as you pass. Voice over tells us that what you do is not just a job but it's important and active member of the community.
At the office, you meet with a client(s). The voice over tells us that you are grateful for the rewards the job affords you - not financial,
but being trusted to help people in your community with the biggest decisions of their lives. At the end of the day, it’s about giving peace of mind,
and the best rewards are the simplest - as you are given a big hug by the client just like you got from your child.
Testimonial
The testimonial video would show a happy client talking about the great experience in working with you, accompanied by footage of you and
the client interacting to show the relationship that has been forged - there is also the opportunity to hear from you. It could add a lot to the story
of the client to hear how the particular strategy you worked for them brought them success and peace of mind.
Commercial (Ryan's fun idea)
A short commercial would give a chance to have some humour, whereas the Brand Movie focuses on pulling the heart strings.
You are playing a round of golf in a threesome. While your client (let’s call him “Dave" for now) takes his first swing, the other player asks you “How long have you know Dave?”
You reply, “Well, I’ve been his investment advisor for several years.” The other player smiles. “Oh, you won’t like this, then.” He walks off, leavingyou perplexed.
Cut to the next hole where Dave challenges the other player. “Double or nothing I land this on the green.” You give a “yikes” face and are about to tell him it’s a bad
idea, but he swings and watches, looking increasingly worried before yelling “Fore!” The other player rib him. “double or nothing?” Dave looks at you, embarressed.
Cut to the next hole, where Dave has a short putt to make. He looks to you. You survey it and give him a nod. “OK! Double or nothing, I sink this.” He makes the putt and celebrates.
Cut to the next hole, where Dave is deep in a sand trap. The other golfer peer over. “So Dave, double or nothing?” Dave looks to you and you shake your head.
Dave turns to the other golfers and shakes his head. The other golfer says to you, “Do you have a card?” You hand it to him as we hear Dave take a swing, sand flies and he curses.
The other golfer says “You’ve really helped Dave with his money.” Dave takes another shot and the ball only goes a short distance and rolls back. “Are you helping him with his golf?”
You say, “No, i stick to his finances.” The other golfer says, “Smart.” Sand flies again and we hear Dave enraged.
