CREATIVE BRIEF
The objective of this particular video is, of course, to explain bublup’s unique structure, but in a way that appeals to the right-brained and left-brained alike. The viewer, no matter whether they consider themselves to be creative/visual/intuitive or logical/systematic/organized, will be thinking:
“Wow, that’s how my brain works! I love it!”
Smith Banfield is the owner of Clear Space, which provides customized functional and aesthetic solutions to cluttered and unorganized spaces. She uses bublup in her work to keep herself organized amongst her multiple projects but also to harness her creativity. She is the perfect study to show how comprehensive bublup is no matter your style of thinking.
The story would introduce the viewer to Smith, her business and, most importantly, her thinking style. In voice over, while we see her work, we learn about how her mind works and see how bublup is the virtual representation of that. This would involve live action footage and video screen-capture of travelling through her bublup account.
Smith professes to be “a visual, intuitive” person. The representation of this is stepping into a client’s space for an initial evaluation and immediately “seeing” the possibilities:
Photographs of previous work of Smith’s scrolls across the screen. We zoom out and see that these photos reside on bublup. After scrolling through several photos, we hold on one: She has made a decision. Back to Smith, she smiles.
In addition to her right-brained processes, she says in voice over she also "relies heavily upon efficient, functional solutions" for her clients as we see her working to organize a space. She places personal items on shelving and we once again zoom out of this image to show that it sits in bublup. From here, we travel through Smith’s bublup, showing how organized it is and how seamlessly separate media and ideas can be integrated and arranged.
In voice over, Smith gushes over how bublup is perfect for her and has helped her be visual and intuitive and analytical and methodical. It has helped her be her. At the end, we see the reveal of the final space for the overjoyed client and we zoom out of this and see it is in a folder on bublup called “Success Stories.”
