CREATIVE BRIEF
Carmanah Pizza
A lifestyle-oriented video to show how engrained in the Cowichan Valley life Carmanah Pizza is would show how Carmanah is a pillar of the Cowichan Valley while also giving a feel for what Carmanah Pizza’s vibe is.
This video would be a story of the active outdoor lifestyle which leads to dinner at Carmanah Pizza:
- trail blazers in the woods
- tubing the Cowichan river
- sea kayaking
- a group going into Carmanah Pizza, looking through the menu, enjoying drinks and food
The video would showcase the venue and the unique features of Carmanah: pizza flights, dough balls, calzones and sweet treats - it has something for everybody.
Trail Blazing
A Soul Story Video encapsulating the Tao of blazing trails in nature. Tao, in Chinese, refers to a “path,” but in a philosophical sense it refers to the natural order of the universe that can be discerned by someone’s intuition to realize its potential for individual wisdom.
This video is an exploration of your Tao; the path you take - literally and figuratively - and the wisdom you have found (or perhaps more questions) along the way. The scripted voice over will obviously go a long way in conveying this story, but the footage of the surroundings will do just as much - a meditative and at times kinetic exploration of nature. This video will inspire others to find their own Tao, whatever that may be.
