WHO WE ARE
SPIRO Creative are storytellers that use video to build relationships between businesses and customers using what we call heart & soul filmmaking. WHAT WE DO We create more than just video. We find the heart of your business and express that to the world in a way that authentically connects you to your audience. WHY WE DO IT The etymological origin of "SPIRO" is latin: To Breathe Life Into; Breathe the Spirit of; mind, soul & courage. We unearth your businesses most powerful narrative - why you do what you do- and create a boundless, soulful expression that resonates with viewers as a beacon amongst the sea of hollow marketing. Your story deserves to be told. We want to tell it. |
CREATIVE BRIEF
Giving Back to the Community
1 "Dinner Party”
A fancy dinner party. Our hero is surrounded by snooty people, looking out of place.
The three snooty people brag about their charitable donations, and one condescendingly
asks what our hero does to give back. He/she responds “I’m a member of Envision Financial.”
This is followed by a montage of Envision’s charitable work emphasized with text outlining what Envision does for the community and how members make it possible. We then see our hero with the upper hand, the snooty people put in their place. Our hero asks one of them to pass the salt.
2 - "You’re A Superhero"
A voice over talks about how amazing the viewer is - speaking to what they do at their job, as a parent, etc (examples for men and women are seen - Mom shopping while handling toddler, Man cleaning gutters sort of thing).
Beyond all those things, the voice over says, they also give back to the community. - This is followed by a montage of Envision’s charitable work emphasized with text outlining what Envision does for the community and how members make it possible.
You may be called Mom, Dad, Boss or employee of the year, but we see you for what you are - a Superhero. We see a man and a woman in separate shots with a cape on, standing in a heroic pose.

1 "The Day I Had"
A husband is lounging in his backyard, and is approached by his wife who tells him he still hasn’t fixed the air conditioning.
He replies “Honey, you would not believe the day I had…”
“First I had to visit my banking people…” He is at Envision in a meeting with an advisor.
“Then I had to go see my investor…” He walks to the next door down.
“Then I had to see my insurance agent…” He walks over to the insurance desk
“I’m beat.”
“Aww, honey, can I bring you some water?”
He smiles. “Please.”
He settles back into lounging, until water is poured on him.
His wife stands back over him. “Better?”
“That’s fair.”
2 "Don't Break Your Neck Over It"
We see a man waiting for an approaching car, and he steps in front of it, cringing.
He is wearing a neck brace and walking stiffly to sit down with an advisor at Envision.
He talks about how much pain he is in and how much it all costs. He asks what he can get.
The advisor lays out the free banking services and the man is thrilled.
As he is leaving he says to another customer “Sympathy works every time. I just got free banking.”
The other customer replies “It’s free for all members.”
The man, in pain looks devastated that he went so far and struggles out the door.
More heart-felt option:
3 "All The Best Things In Life Are Free"
A heart-string puller of a video with stirring music and narration about the things that truly matter in life: e.g.. "a laugh” - an older person laughing, "a moment that lasts a lifetime" - intimate moment between a couple, "a smile” - a baby or little kid’s smile, etc)
The narration says “We understand that the most important things in life are free, and we want to reflect that.” This leads to the outlining of the Simply Free Account that can utilize some of our past footage of the credit unions and more heart strings-puling footage of individuals, couples and families enjoying moments that are the best things in life.
