CREATIVE BRIEF
BRAND STORY VIDEO CONCEPT (60-90 seconds)
(Ryan's Interpretation)
For KITS, I think for the cinematic essence to be captured the theme must be tied into the natural surroundings. The unique setting, while beneficial because of its beauty, also allows for a thematic element to the story: The fostering of children (saplings) into empowerment (towering trees) requires a large family (forest).
Voice over from Denise about why she does what she does and how it empowers children should be the spine of the story, accentuated with footage of Denise in the forest, looking up at the metaphorical lives she’s helped cultivate, culminating in planting a sapling, and leaving, knowing it will be taken care of by the trees around it.
Slow motion footage of children running through the forest would give the feeling of flow and freedom.
I also see Denise looking out at the rugged shore while kids play on the beach, showing photos of a past participant ( I wonder who that could be?!) and then that person as an adult joining Denise, arms around each other to watch the children play.
We can integrate footage from the KITS program and the voice over can address the idea of mentorship with the leaders and the structure of the groups being a family and why that is beneficial.

I want to hear Denise through voice over (scripted) explaining what her vision over 30 years has been with Kits and it's evolution going forward. I want to see children interacting and doing the exercises in the program over the course of 5 days. As well as touching on the leadership aspect. This would be an overview video under 2 minutes to encompass the program as a whole finishing off with the end show and the parents proud faces.
Testimonial Video (2 minutes long)
I'd like to interview between 3-4 people who are in the program at different ages and at different stages of development
Commercial (30 - 45 seconds long)
This would be a pitch style commercial to be able to send to other coutries and regions to see if they would like to have KITS in their area.
Commercial (30-45 seconds long)
This video would focus more on the funding aspect to reach out to corporations who believe what you believe and potentially have grant money to support KITS.

If we film in Gabriola our travel and accommodation and food would need to be covered.

$3,000 SPIRO VIDEO CLUB OPTION. $250 a month for 12 months.
Option to save 5% of the total bill if entire amount is paid upfront.
