CREATIVE BRIEF
4-5 min Brand Story Video
This video will showcase the history of Nickels Cabinetry, it’s craftsmanship and innovation, as it moves into the future. The voice over will detail the start of Nickels Cabinetry in a garage in 1979 (the video could open with a silhouette being revealed by an opening garage door, wood on a table)
and discuss how the vision and values have carried the company forward through the decades, entrenching itself as a reliable, dedicated and exceptional (eg. "The family business has grown, but all that means is that the family has grown too.” - Shots of employees, working, looking to camera - "We pride ourselves on working with traditional values of hard work and attention to detail while being on the cutting edge of technology.”)
The video will focus heavily on three aspects:
- The product, a perfect marriage of form and functionality, custom-made
(We deal in custom designs because no clients are alike and their cabinetry should reflect that. It should reflect them.”)
- The craftmanship, the skill, dedication and attention to detail that goes into Nickels Cabinetry, the culture the company has that allows it to flourish.
- The relationships. How it feels to have had clients for decades & generations and also to gain the trust of new clients.
The relationship aspect will close the video as it is the most relatable and emotionally resonant piece, a call to action that feels like an invitation to be a part of something special. (eg. "Times change, and style and technology with it, but the one thing that remains constant is that our clients rely on us for our dedication and commitment to exceptional craftsmanship”)

A streamlined version of the Brand Story Video that can be utilized on social media platforms, email signatures and advertising, highlighting the craftmanship and values of Nickels Cabinetry and establishing its decades-long journey of leading the industry in innovation and elegance.
30 second Branding Reveal Teaser
A tease for not only the Open House audience but the online audience as well.
Black. We hear noises of woodwork - sawing, sanding, etc. as the voice over talks about how Nickels Cabinetry has made a name for itself in large part to its constant evolution, both in craftsmanship and technological innovation.
Slowly, the logo is revealed, along with the new tagline.
30 second commercial
A quick, punchy montage of the products and craftspeople of Nickels Cabinetry driven by powerful music. Short, but high impact.
15 second Header Loop Video
A short looped video to position on the header of Nickels Cabinetry’s landing page, a tease which will draw them into the longer videos on the site.
