WHO WE ARE
SPIRO Creative are storytellers that use video to build relationships between businesses and customers using what we call heart & soul filmmaking. WHAT WE DO We create more than just video. We find the heart of your business and express that to the world in a way that authentically connects you to your audience. WHY WE DO IT The etymological origin of "SPIRO" is latin: To Breathe Life Into; Breathe the Spirit of; mind, soul & courage. We unearth your businesses most powerful narrative - why you do what you do- and create a boundless, soulful expression that resonates with viewers as a beacon amongst the sea of hollow marketing. Your story deserves to be told. We want to tell it. |
CREATIVE BRIEF
“Sugar” by Maroon 5 music video
Exterior shot of the Tim Hortons location
The last customer of the day exits and a manager says waves goodbye as he/she closes the door and locks it. As the 12 Tim Hortons Managers start to tidy up it becomes Party time! Each person at a different station moving their hips slowly, starting to get into the song. The words come in when someone reaches slowly for a donut and says the words to camera "And I gotta get one little taste", (:38 sec) then the chorus plays "Sugar, yes please..." We see:
- vignettes of 2 or 3 managers together and their shenanigans, such as:
- throwing powdered sugar in slow motion
- eating donuts (shoving into each other’s faces)
- juggling timbits
- lip-synching with the drive thru headset (If the location has a drive thru, we could cut outside the location and the music would sound distorted like it was coming through the drive through speaker for the shot)
- a manager sweeping with a broom, laying on a trolley being pushed by another manager
- timbit fight?
- Dancing with each other
The end comes with the managers all walking away across the parking lot with the Tim Hortons sign in the background and a closed store.
