WHO WE ARE
SPIRO Creative are storytellers that use video to build relationships between businesses and customers using what we call heart & soul filmmaking. WHAT WE DO We create more than just video. We find the heart of your business and express that to the world in a way that authentically connects you to your audience. WHY WE DO IT The etymological origin of "SPIRO" is latin: To Breathe Life Into; Breathe the Spirit of; mind, soul & courage. We unearth your businesses most powerful narrative - why you do what you do- and create a boundless, soulful expression that resonates with viewers as a beacon amongst the sea of hollow marketing. Your story deserves to be told. We want to tell it. |
CREATIVE BRIEF
1. Brand Story: “Life gets better with age”
A cinematic story, what we like to call visual poems, that tells the story of your brand in a unique way.
The story is told through emblematic images and an accompanying voice over. The theme of this story
is “life gets better with age.” We follow the advice of an older man to the young and old alike, and see the journey of life,
its milestones and how wine is the cultural companion to these moments.
We open on an older man, glass of wine in hand - as he walks with his dog through the rows of vines at Township 7 as the sun begins to set. He watches a winemaker inspect a cluster of grapes on the vine.
The voice over throughout is poetic advice from the older man about life getting better with age.
For example:
"Life is not a race to some imagined finish line. Cherish each moment, hold it and get everything out of it. Some moments you can hold onto, others you can let go."
“Don’t put undue importance on things or get lost in comparison. Looking back, everything is weightless. A summer wind is as profound as the greatest love.”
“I see moments past in new ways, like washing away shadows with light."
Accompanying this voice over we see:
- Two young people are having a romantic dinner. They cheers their wine glasses. Below the table, the man holds an engagement ring, waiting for the right moment.
- Two young women are on a couch together. In front of them is a bottle of Township wine, 2 glasses and a box of tissue - one of the girls is in tears after a heartbreak, and the other consoles her, eliciting a laugh.
- A wedding at Township 7 - a toast given by the father of the bride, everyone raises their glasses
- A couple enters friends’ house with a bottle of Township 7 as a gift and rush to see their friends’ newborn baby.
- We see the winemaker, barrels behind him, places a bottle of Township 7 out on display. The older man takes it.
We close on the older man, with his glass of wine and his dog, looking out at the view from the vineyard.
“There are no endings, only new beginnings. Because life just gets better with age.”
This video is a showcase of the soul of Township 7. It can serve as a showpiece not only on the website and social media, but on display in both locations. We are giving the viewers an impactful emotional experience rather than a sales push.
2. Short promo videos
Each 30-60 second video serves to highlight a different aspect of Township 7 to be emphasized.
- Online sales: Highlighting the unique feature of ordering wine of your choice online or becoming a member of Club 7 to have your taste catered to in shipments.
-Club 7: Highlighting the value and benefits of being a Club 7 member, including footage of Club 7 exclusive events and an emphasis on the shipments.
- Locations: Highlighting the unique features of both Township 7 locations to appeal to people both local and with travelling distance as a destination. The emphasis is on the experience one gets from being at each location.
