 We all, at one time or another, dream of a getaway. We close our eyes and hear the faint rustle of the wind through the trees, smell the fresh air and feel the grass between our toes. That feeling, that getaway, is Pretty Estates Resort. Tasked with producing a video to promote the wedding services at the resort, Adera and I hopped in the car and headed to Harrison Mills, only a little over an hour away, and what we found was a piece of paradise. 
 The tranquility of the area is breathtaking, and the unique setting became immediately apparent, as when we walked to check into the manor home that has stood for nearly one hundred years, a small plane landed on a strip between the river and the golf course presided over by 180 foot Douglas Fir trees. The Resort, with the manor home and four riverfront cottages, restaurant and 18 hole golf course, offers the perfect spot for a wedding - it's close to home and manages to transport you away to a peaceful time, and the scenery is stunning. It definitely made an impression on Adera and I, as we are already talking about going back to stay for a weekend.
